The Express Router™ is a phone aggregator that can be deployed inside your network providing a single point to connect your phones consolidating calls and minimizing bandwidth usage.

With a simple Plug and Play design and our Zero Config™ technology the Express Router™ ships configured for your account and can be deployed in minutes.
The Express Router™ isn't a cheap plastic box you get free with your phone service, it's enterprise ready networking equipment that can handle hundreds of phones and process up to 100 simultaneous of calls.
Ideal Usage
Deployments where more than a few phones share an Internet connection or where adequate bandwidth is an issue.
How It Works
The Express Router™ intelligently aggregates calls to any connected phones.
For example, if you have a call group with fifteen members our service would typically establish fifteen separate connections to your phones.

The Express Router™ simplifies this scenario by allowing our service to establish a single connection, regardless of how many phones are assigned to the group. Once the call is received, the Express Router™ instantly connects each of the locally available phones that are members of the dialed group.
Extension to Extension audio or video calls to phones connected to the Express Router™ stay inside your network.
With additional bandwidth to work with and since the Express Router™ is inside your network with your phones, you can use much higher quality audio codecs providing crystal clear wideband audio to your users.
Capacity
Each Express Router™ supports up to 250 phones and depending on codec selection up to 100 simultaneous calls.

No More Jitter
The Express Router™ includes an impressive High Performance Jitter Buffer to compensate for packet loss and other anomolies common with using the internet for streaming media.
Normally when there is packet loss or when packets arrive out of order the user experiences degraded call quality. At the cost of just a few milliseconds of latency, the High Performance Jitter Buffer can make a tremendous difference in overall call quality with less than perfect or temporarily congested internet connections.
The High Performance Jitter Buffer can be disabled in deployments where internet connectivity is optimal.
Redundancy
Larger deployments can use multiple routers and each device can easily be configured as a hot-spare or load-balancer with the optional Express Router™ Enterprise Edition software license.
